GDPR

If you operate your business in certain locations, you may be required to adhere to the regulations outlined in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By implementing the PJ Pixel on your website, you and Prisjakt become joint controllers within the meaning of Article 26 of the GDPR with respect to the processing of personal data carried out through the PJ Pixel. For the purpose of regulating our respective responsibilities for compliance with the obligations under the GDPR, please note that you are responsible for:

  • Obtaining a valid consent from users/end-customers for the activation of the PJ Pixel on your website and for the processing of personal data carried out as a result of activating the PJ Pixel, including the subsequent transmission of conversion data to Prisjakt and Prisjakt's subsequent use of such data, in accordance with Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, and applicable national implementing legislation;

  • Providing users/end-customers with clear and comprehensive information about the processing, including information that Prisjakt is a recipient of the conversion data and the purposes for which Prisjakt processes such data (in this regard, please refer to our Integrity Policy - available in English, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, and French - where we explain how we process personal data obtained via the PJ Pixel);

  • Ensuring that Prisjakt is identified as a joint controller in your privacy policy and/or cookie notice, as applicable; and

  • Responding to requests from data subjects that want to exercise their rights under the GDPR (please note that a data subject may exercise its rights against Prisjakt as well; we undertake to inform each other of any request that impacts the processing carried out in connection with the PJ Pixel).
